The SecurView™ SV-6917.IR "Hang Cam" is another addition to our commercial camera line. It is a hanging style camera designed to be mounted up high or down low on bigger vehicles. Just like our other hanging style cameras, the Hang Cam has a 360° swiveling mounting bracket, die-cast metal construction and Infra-Red LEDs for night vision.
The size and shape of the Hang Cam is what sets it apart from the our other hanging style cameras. It has a smaller design which allows it to be mounted in more difficult locations. Also, the newly designed shape gives it a more sleek look on the vehicle making it look like a more custom install. One other difference is that it is normal or reverse image selectable which makes it easier to hook up to different monitors.
The Hang Cam has a wide angle 160° view, and due to the swiveling mounting bracket it can either be mounted right side up or upside down depending on the vehicle application. The camera also includes a built-in microphone for audio recording as well.
