The SecurView™ SV-6818.EM is an up-insert type camera meaning that a hole must be drilled for the camera to fit into place on the car. Once the the hole is drilled the camera snaps into place leaving just the lens to be seen and giving it a nice clean appearance of a lip mount camera. The camera has selectable normal or reverse imaging, a built-in distance guard grid to help the driver accurately judge the distance behind the vehicle and an ultra-wide 170° viewing angle.

A hole saw bit is provided with the camera for drilling the hole for the camera's insert.
