The new DS series remote starters are designed to work exclusively thru the vehicle’s Canbus using a Databus interface module. There are 2 Data Ports, one for Fortin and one for ADS iDatalink. The DS series will not work as a stand alone system.
The DS series is ideal for Push to Start vehicles and new Chryslers that have no ignition wires at key cylinder. These vehicles start thru data and require a bypass module to interface with the vehicle computer. Many of these vehicles have a “T” harness Plug-In for the bypass module that will connect directly to the data port of the DS module. In most cases no extra wiring will be necessary for remote starting the vehicle.
Some of the new features include, OEM remote integration with 3 press lock = Remote Start. 4 remote outputs to control left and right sliding doors, gas cap and trunk release without any extra wiring. The system can also be programmed as a 1-Way or 2-Way system by just changing the antenna and remotes. There are 26 options to customize the system to your needs.
Unlike other data systems, the DS series has extra outputs to operate the parking lights and car horns for remote start confirmation.

The Cool Start™ DS-3 system is a 1-Way remote start system that uses (2) ultra-compact extended range 4-button transmitters to operate. Keyless entry is included with this system as well as auto locking and unlocking with ignition. Other features include: Twin data ports, tachometer sensing and horn honk.
